Welcome! You are about to take a virtual trip down memory lane where you will see some of my favorite images. Some of these images may even feel familiar to you. You may have seen some of these from close to 20 years as a photojournalist at the Boston Herald, photographing past Presidents, sports figures, and many celebrities. Many images are from my years as the staff photographer for Cardinal Seán P. O'Malley and the Archdiocese of Boston, where my responsibility was to document the faith of the nearly 2 million Catholics in Boston both thru still images and video, including travels to Rome, Spain, Brazil, and most recently Poland.
In between, I have spent much time photographing events and weddings. My time is spent joyfully behind a camera capturing life's moments. My heart belongs to the gift God has given me, which is the ability to see and capture a moment in time for you to treasure. Whether it makes you laugh, cry, or stop and think, my goal is to help you remember those moments.
I am a past president of the Boston Press Photographer's Association (the oldest press photographers' association in the country), a title I was very honored for my colleagues to elect me to for four years. As a photojournalist, my assignments have ranged from covering the homeless on the street to presidential vacations on Martha's Vineyard to being the first photojournalist from Boston to be on scene to cover the tragedy of 9-11 as it unfolded.
The Boston Herald declared me to be "A true wedding photojournalist who artistically blends traditional portraiture with the much sought after photojournalistic style."
